The DAHR proved to be a consistent organization when it decided to take part in the government in a period so critical. DECISION
2010. 1. 25.

According to the Statute of the DAHR the office of Executive President and that of a ministerial portfolio can not be fulfilled by the same person. According to the request of Kelemen Hunor, the Permanent Council of DAHR has suspended him from the Executive President’s office, for the time he will conduct the Ministry of Culture. In advance, the Alliance’s President has requested an interpretation from the Statute Supervising Commission of the Alliance. »

Decentralization for Romania collective rights for the minorities

In medium terms, Romania has to accomplish the decentralization, since the over-centralized state structure could sweep the state to the periphery of the European Union – declared Kelemen Hunor, in Gyergyóditró.
The DAHR presidential candidate underlined, that beside the specific problems of the society, we have to give an answer to the question: what kind of Romania, what kind of Transylvania do we want, in order to be able to maintain and to bequest our Hungarian identity. »

He went from door to door, from house to house in the small town of Harghita county, and asked the people to vote for Székely Ágnes, DAHR candidate for the mayor`s seat, and Borboly Csaba, candidate of the DAHR for the County Council President`s position. »
